MARGARET (PEGGY) CLARK

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our cherished mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, Margaret (Peggy) Clark on November 19, 2025, in Martensville, Saskatchewan at the age of 102 years.

Mom was born in Brandon MB on September 22, 1923, to Fred and Miriam Mansoff. All her schooling was in Brandon, MB. For a short time, she worked at a furriers on Rosser Avenue, along with her mother, sewing buffalo hide coats for the local police. On July 11, 1942, she married Gerald Clark at Assumption Church in Windsor, ON. They moved to Brandon MB in 1944 where they raised their three children. Mom had many interests and hobbies; indoor activities - she was a remarkable woman who could knit, sew and fix just about anything around the house; she spent many happy hours reconstructing and painting damaged sculptures from St. Augustine’s Church, as a volunteer; one of her most loved pastimes, and in which she was very talented, was painting in acrylic, oil, pastels, pencil or water colours; outdoor activities – in the winter mom enjoyed cross-country skiing and speed skating; in summer, she found great pleasure tending her garden, particularly, the tomato plants that grew very tall and produced the largest best tasting tomatoes on the planet; last but not least, was her passion for golf, she was an avid golfer and a formidable opponent winning many tournaments throughout the province which gained her fame but no fortune. She was an active member of St. Augustine's Church for 67 years until she moved in 2011 to West Kelowna, B.C to be nearer to her daughter. In 2023, mom and {Pat) Tricia moved to Martensville, Sask.

Mom was predeceased by husband Gerald Clark, her parents, Fred and Miriam Mansoff and her three brothers, Bill, Jim and Ed.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, (Pat) Tricia, sons David and Gerry (Leigh), 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.
