It is with great grief and sorrow that we share the passing of our mom, Arlene Walker, on Friday, February 6, 2026.
Darcy - “Mom was just here in Phoenix visiting us for three weeks over the holidays - we celebrated Christmas, my daughter Kaelyn's 13th birthday, New Year’s, and my birthday all together. We are so grateful we had that time with her, and we will cherish those memories.
I had no idea when we said good-bye on our FaceTime call on Tuesday that it would be the last time we would talk. Please, tell the people you love that you love them - you never know when it will be your last conversation.”
Left to cherish Mom’s memory are her daughter Sherri-Leigh (Mesquite, TX); grandchildren, Patrick Webb (39) (Mesquite, TX), Keegan Webb (36) (Mesquite, TX), Alexis Phea (24) (Honolulu, HI); her son Darcy Walker and his wife Christy Walker (Phoenix, AZ); and grandchildren, Brielle Walker (15), and Kaelyn Walker (13).
Mom will be deeply missed not only by our family, but by her taekwondo family at Ki Rin Tae Kwon Do in Brandon, where she was known as "mama-san." She earned her black belt at 54 and remained connected to the club and its members for years. She loved them, and I know they loved her.
A celebration of Arlene’s life will be held in the Summer of 2026.
