Passed away at the Fairview Personal Care Home on Sunday March 1, 2026 at the age of 90 years, Ruth Elizabeth McKay (nee Weir), of Brandon, MB.
Ruth is survived by her sons Dale (Natalie) of Brandon, Kent (Kim) of Boissevain, Grant (Linda) of Marysville, Kansas; grandchildren Sarah (Corey), Kale (Emma), Ashley (Brett), Heather (Evan), Jennifer (Taylor) and Bailey, great-grandchildren Hayden, Cohen, Miley, Kyrah, Oliver, Ivy, Luke and Claire and by sister and brother-in-law Jean and Clare Leslie of Treherne, MB.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband Morley McKay (2023), parents John and Mary Weir, brother Ivan Weir and by a grandson Seth.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Hilton Cemetery, Hilton MB at a later date in the spring.
