CORINNE POIRIER It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Corinne Poirier of St. Pierre Jolys on Friday, September 16, 2005. Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband Leonard; daughter Lise; son Ron (Kim); and five grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Ryan, Tyler and Megan. Also surviving are her brother Norbert Neveux (Marie); sisters, Louise Levesque, Simone Lacasse (Edmond), Carmel Hebert, Edith Shelby (Gordon), Gabrielle Lahaie (Gilbert); and brother-in-law Jacques Audet. She also leaves her in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Corinne was predeceased by her parents, Wilfrid and Jeanne Neveux; brothers, Raymond and Maurice; and also one sister Diane Audet. Corinne lived for her grandchildren. She was always there for them when they needed her. She loved camping, walking in the fallen leaves or by the lake. She enjoyed cooking at the Manoir and also at the Club Jolys. Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be held at the St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 20 at 2:30 p.m. with a half hour of prayer and music prior to the service. Interment of the cremated remains will follow immediately after mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the DeSalaberry Health Centre Foundation in St. Pierre Jolys or to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. You are still missed very much and everyone in the family remembers something special about you; either a joke you'd say, one of your recipes, a wise word you once said and many are still feeling the incredible loss.
