ANN POETTCKER Ann Poettcker passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord, whom she loved and served, on October 9, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 76 years. She was predeceased by her parents, and her brothers John and Henry.She is survived by her brother Abe (Anna) and her sisters Mary Dyck and Elizabeth (John) Thiessen, as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Ann was born July 20, 1929 in southern Alberta and lived in Coaldale for a number of years until her move to Winnipeg in 1971 where she served with efficiency in accounting at Christian Press and the Canadian MB Conference offices until illness forced her to go on disability. She found much joy in her association with Christian Business and Professional Women, the CFSA singles group, volunteering at Donwood Personal Care Home, and the Eastview Community Church. Interment will take place on Wednesday, October 19, at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held that afternoon at 2:00 p.m.at Eastview Community Church, 3500 DeVries Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's memory to the Eastview Community Church Building Fund.
