ENID (nee NORMAN) BEATTIE Enid, formerly of Kiwanis Chateau, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, October 15, after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband Bruce Beattie and by her brothers, Walker, Leslie, Ernest and Harry Norman. She is survived by her son Norman (Reta Owens); by her grandchildren, Catherine and Bill (B.J.) McLeod; and by her great-grandchildren, Billy and Catea McLeod. Her immediate family will attend a private interment of her ashes on Friday. A gathering in Enid's memory will be held at the Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St. on Saturday, October 22 at 12 noon. All who wish to attend are welcome. We wish to thank the staff of Misericordia Place who provided Enid with a caring home over the past five years. We also wish to thank the staff of the Health Sciences Centre who made her final hours as comfortable as possible. My sympathies are with you. I lost my mother. Please don't be offended but I noticed her grandson is Bill McLeod. If you went to Hammarskjold High School, I just want to thank you for just your smile when I felt I had no friends. God bless you all. Donna P.S.
