PAUL EMIL RANTA Passed away in Winnipeg on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at the age of 49 years. Born in Port Arthur, ON, he attended Cornwall School and Port Arthur Collegiate Institute. He worked for Canada Post as a letter carrier in Thunder Bay and Winnipeg, and recently as a Welder for Haakon Industries in Winnipeg. Paul is survived by his daughters Rianne and Monica, his mother Signe in Thunder Bay, his brothers Raymond (Joan) in California, Allan (Debbie), Eric (Linda) in Thunder Bay and David (Margot) in Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his father Elmer and sister Janice. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 11 at the Hemmet in the Scandinavian Home, 147 S. Algoma St., Thunder Bay.
