CAROLINE (CARRIE) RAWLUK May 8, 1919 - December 4, 2005 Finally free and called to the Lord, our Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister and Friend passed away at Concordia Hospital. Carrie was a remarkably spirited woman with many talents who loved her family dearly. She left her mark with her wonderful art murals, her skill at home renovations and her love of singing. She enriched many family parties with singing old time songs, her sense of humour and unique cooking ability. She was a professional seamstress and upholsterer for many years. Carrie was predeceased by her husband Bill, brothers Albert and John, son-in-law Dave and daughter-in-law Gloria. She is survived and forever treasured by her children, Melvin (Camilla), Arthur (Gail), Patricia (Howard), Helen (Lance), Ted (Kathy), Shirley (Paul), Raymond (Beverley); 24 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; as well as 3 loving sisters, Jessie, Frances and Celia. A special Thank-you to the Management and staff of River East Personal Care Home. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, December 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, December 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave. with Rev. Fr. Raymond Lukie, C.Ss.R. officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
