PHYLLIS ELIZABETH DELORES PINEAU November 12, 1935 - December 16, 2005 God called his angel, our mother, nanny and wife, Phyllis to heaven on Friday, December 16, 2005. After spending her 70 years of life giving freely to others and sacrificing her own wants and needs for those of her family, fate has decided that it is now her time to rest in peace. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents Walter and Eileen Opfergelt; her parents-in-law Ben and Ethel Pineau; brother-in-law Keith Pineau; sisters-in-law, Mary and Helga Opfergelt; and her dear beloved first grandson Trevor Neil Tanner. At this time of deep pain and sorrow we are blessed with the comfort of knowing that Trevor has his Nanny back and she has him in her arms again. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Neil; children, Marcheta (Jack), Barb (Larry), Rick (Gisele), Audrey (Brian), David (Diane); grandchildren, Luke, Jen and Travis, Nicholas and Joel, Tyler and Katy, Taylor and Danika; also left to mourn are brothers, Vernon and Jack; sister Audrey; and many other family members and friends. Her very special companion, Bailey, her yellow lab, is lost without her. Phyllis was born in Saskatchewan and was a true prairie girl. She married Neil in 1955 and they made their homes in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba. Mom loved the great outdoors, her time spent with friends curling, and especially her family. She enjoyed being employed with M.T.S for 17 years where she made many friends. She was involved for many years with Regents Park United Church, and taught Sunday School for many years. Celebration of Phyllis's life will be Thursday, December 22 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Teresa Moysey officiating at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations in Phyllis's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Lawn Funeral Home 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. 982-7550
