CATHY THORVALDSON (nee BLAYDON) After a courageous and valiant struggle with cancer, Cathy passed away peacefully and with dignity on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre. Cathy was born in Winnipeg on August 13, 1958. Cathy took pride in her work at Great West Life. She was predeceased by her Baba Krutiak and mother Stephanie Blaydon. Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Grant; daughter who was her pride and joy, Kelsey Brooke; her father Phillip John (Joyce); sisters, Cindy and Carol; nephew Nathan; nieces, Melissa and Carrie and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. To all the staff at CancerCare Manitoba we thank you, especially Dr. L. Brandes. Special thanks to Sue Pridham and Kelvin Pugh for all their dedicated love and support. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with interment following at All Saints Cemetery.
