His skill and expertise were recognized by the Provincial Department of Education through its engaging him as a professional consultant on the Senior 4 English Provincial Standards Exam for several years. Mr. Brooker was my teacher both at Westdale Jr. High and at Oak Park High School. He inspired me to enjoy not only the English language but life itself. Mr. Brooker made me feel valued and important. He contributed greatly to my self-esteem and to my confidence level throughout my teen years. I can honestly say he was a major contributing factor to my growth and development as a person. He will always hold a special place in my heart. God Bless you Mr. Brooker. - Posted by: Darlene Baschuk (Acquaintance) on: Jan 10, 2006
