Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKRISTINE REDAHL (nee THOMSEN) After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Kristine passed away peacefully at Grace Hospital on February 3, 2006 at the age of 38. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Brad, mother Joan Thomsen, brother Ross and grandma Helga Scott. She is also survived by her father, Lars Thomsen. She leaves numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, one sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as many close, devoted and valued friends. She was predeceased by grandpa Ralph Scott, amma Rosie Thomsen, afi Viggo Thomsen, mother-in-law June Redahl, and sister-in-law Michelle Klack. Kristine was born on July 28, 1967. She was raised and attended school in Charleswood. Kristine worked for 10 years at Canada Trust and she then went on to a successful career as office manager for Kemp Hearing Center. Kristine and Brad met in 1990 and recently celebrated their ten-year anniversary. They loved to camp, fish, ski and travel. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs. Kristine was kind, fun-loving and enjoyed a zest for life. With a laugh that was unique, she touched us all with her sense of humour and selfless compassion for others. Kristine shared a strong bond with the special children who called her auntie . A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday February 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Kristine's family would like to express their thanks to the physicians and staff at Cancer Care Manitoba and staff at the Grace Hospital who assisted with her care and comfort. The family would also like to extend their deep appreciation and gratitude to Kristine and Brad's friends for their unwavering and generous support throughout her illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E OV9. We were friends in junior high and high school . I miss you Kristine, I have never forgotten you. You were my best friend in school. I moved to BC, but never forgot your friendship your smile and your generous nature. Today is your birthday. And as always you are in my thoughts. My heart goes out to you and yours. You were a beautiful woman with a huge heart. I will never forget your generousity and loving way about you. You had a smile that could light up a room and the most contagious laugh ever heard. I will miss you greatly and will never forget you. Thanks for all the laughter, great times, and even the tears.
