D'ARCY DICK It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William D'Arcy Dick, on February 6, 2006, at age 93. D'Arcy will be greatly missed and remembered as a kind person, generous of spirit and well known for his unique laughter. His life was both interesting and yet challenging. A series of stroke complications over several years caused a decline in health, until his passing. Born near Stoughton, SK, his family enjoyed success raising and selling Angus livestock, eventually taking them to Warren and Stuartburn, MB, where D'Arcy married Elizabeth in 1942. Leaving Marquette in 1957, they resided in Winnipeg. Since retiring from Cargill in 1977, both D'Arcy and Betty were happy to pursue hobbies, collectibles, antiquing and time spent with family. Betty, predeceased him in 1998. All surviving nieces and nephews will fondly remember their warmth, hospitality, the many clocks, and of course, the house in Woodhaven. Special thanks to the caring staff at Bethania Personal Care Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, at 1:30 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, with interment at Chapel Lawn.
