YVONNE AURORE DESROSIERS (DORGE) (nee TOUPIN) December 3, 1924 - April 11, 2006 Yvonne passed away at Concordia Hospital in the ICU on April 11, 2006 surrounded by members of her family at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, daughter Diane and brother Rene. Yvonne was later predeceased by her second husband Adelard Dorge. She is survived by her son Marc (Doreene) and three grandchildren, Gregory (Dawna), Danielle (Juan) and Kirsten and her significant other Greg Bercier. Also survived by her sister Irene Brodeur (Roland), many nieces and nephews, as well as lifelong girlfriend Lucienne Bernier. This world has lost a friend, wife, mother, sister, aunt and a kind soul. Yvonne lived a simple but loving life devoted to her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by many friends of her apartments building. Yvonne always had a smile and could be counted on to have a joke or a phrase that would make you smile. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with a reception to follow. Special thanks go to the excellent ICU staff at Concordia Hospital, Dr. Erhard at the St. Boniface Hospital and Father Leonce Aubin. Flowers are gratefully declined.
