Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA LUCY PURKARD Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Eva, on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at the age of 56 years. Remaining to forever cherish in her memory are her partner Gerald Bergeron; son David; daughters, Susan and Pam; grandchildren, Holly, Joey, Christy, Luis, Vanessa and Vinnie as well as her sisters and numerous relatives. She was predeceased by her son Duane; parents, Ladislav and Albina and niece Laura Laroque. Eva was born in 1950 in Naples, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1951. She loved her Boston Terrier Tanko, the outdoors and spending time at her getaway out in St. Laurent, MB. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 18 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Paul The Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Ave., with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant presiding. Eva's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665

It seems as though it was not long ago that I would come to the door and Avy would greet me with a smile invite me in. She never turned me away and always made time for me to sit and chat in the yard, at the kitchen table, on the couch or in her room. She was there for me when others weren't. Her accepting, generous and kind way about her. She knew how I loved her son Duane and I knew she loved me. All the oldies music while doing home projects.
