EARL THOMAS GIBBON-FLEISCHMANN July 16, 1984 - April 15, 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the accidental passing of Earl Gibbon from this world to Heaven. Earl was the, beloved son of Bert Fleischmann and Cheryl Gibbon, brother of Ben Fleischmann, grandson of Heinz and Carol Fleischmann and deceased grandmother Elfriede Johanna Paulin. He was family to many more. Earl was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Transcona. He graduated from Transcona Collegiate Institute and lived, worked and played in Transcona where he had many friends. He was a wonderful son and brother. He was very dedicated to his family and he took care of his mother. He was quiet and compassionate and wasn't afraid to express himself and stand up for what he believed in. Earl was an intelligent young man and was working hard toward impending success with great dedication and determination. Earl loved basketball. He knew the moves and liked to be seen. He considered himself a baller' (on and off the court). Earl was a fair and loyal friend always willing to help someone in need. Family and friends knew they could always depend on Earl and they will all remember him with a smile and respect. He will be very deeply missed.
