BOSA (BOGDANA) POTKONJAK Silently, the angels took our beloved mother and grandmother, Bosa Potkonjak, aged 80 years of Lynn Lake, MB into His mansion above on Friday, May 5, 2006. There she'll rest from earthly toll safe in the arms of God's love. Funeral services will be held on 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 at St. Simons Anglican Church, 110 Eldon Ave. with Pastors Bill and Anna Penner officiating. Interment to follow in the Lynn Lake Cemetery. Born on September 15, 1925, and raised in Gopic, Yugoslavia, Bosa came to Canada in the 1960's to be with her love, John, who had come ahead several years earlier to make a home for them. Bosa was a quiet soul who loved gardening and was completely dedicated to her husband and son. John and Bosa welcomed their first son, George in the fall of 1963 and bid farewell to his tiny soul during the winter of 1965. Then during the month of January 1969, John and Bosa welcomed a second son, Stevo. The three of them enjoyed each other for many years. Once again, John went ahead nearly five years ago to prepare a home above for Bosa. Bosa will be dearly missed here on earth by her son, Stevo, daughter-in-law, Tammy and grandchildren, Ty, Mya and Johnny. We love you Mama.
