RITA ISABELLA QUINN (MACMILLAN)
Date of Passing: Jun 13, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRITA ISABELLA QUINN (MACMILLAN) On June 13, 2006 Rita was peacefully delivered from the arms of her children into the arms of her merciful and loving God. She will always be remembered by her children, Gordon, Treana, Glynis and Angela; their spouses; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her loving sisters, Nina and Ethel, in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom had a wonderful send-off with her children at her side and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, sister-in-law and her niece and nephew calling from coast to coast to speak words of love into her ear and to say goodbye. She left this world knowing she was loved. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her unbounded joy. Her memories of them remained vivid, including those of her grandsons who would pretend to be sick so they could stay home from school and spend the day with their grandma / Mama Rita. Mom had the gift of hospitality. During her life, her home was always open and her table always spread. No one passed through her doors without feeling welcomed. She became known as Mama Rita to many of our friends over the years. She is now at peace with her loving husband (Rev). Charles Wesley Quinn. Our thanks to all those who visited Mom and to the staff at Charleswood Care Centre whose compassion towards Mom and to us during her last days was greatly appreciated. At Rita's request cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date. Home at Last THOMSON IN THE PARK Funeral Home Cemetery 1291 McGillivray Blvd. 925-1120
