BERNHARD (BEN) POMMER It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father and grandfather, aged 94, of Beausejour, MB on June 20, 2006 at the East Gate Personal Care Home. He leaves to cherish his memory, sons Allan (Carol), Ronald (Leone) and Donald; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Walter and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Hannah on February 13, 2006, parents John and Augusta, brothers, Bill (half brother), Art, Rudolph, Leonard and Harold. The family would like to thank Dr. Zeiler and the staff at East Gate Lodge for their loving, gentle care of our father. A come and go viewing will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. East from 7:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2006. Funeral Service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Whiteshell Baptist Church in Seven Sisters, MB. Interment will follow at Whiteshell Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in dad's memory maybe be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 10 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
