SALVATORE ANTONIO COLATRUGLIO Peacefully with his family by his side on July 6, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Salvatore Colatruglio passed away at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his wife Maria Diana and one daughter Michelina Urciuoli. Salvatore is survived by daughters Angela (Stefano) Reino and Josie D'Andrea; sons John and Mike (Deena); grandchildren, Pino (Tania), Mauro, Giovanna (Dino), Di Fabrizio, Marino, Robert, Anthony, Gaetano, Domonique, Julianna, Kristina, Claudio (Beatrice) and Marcello (Angela); great-grandchildren, Alessio, Marino and Massimo. Salvatore loved his family and enjoyed going to his grandchildren's soccer games. He also had a love for gardening, wine making, and socializing at the mall with his Italian friends. Salvatore worked 10 years as a miner in Belgium. He immigrated to Canada in 1968 with his wife and five children. In Canada he first worked in construction and then maintenance in the hotel business. Special thanks to the staff at Maples Personal Care Home who enjoyed socializing with him. Thanks also to the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 9 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Inkster. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Assumption Cemetery.
