IRENE LUCIENNE MARIE BEAUDRY (née CARIGNAN) January 23, 1920 July 20, 2006 Irène passed away peacefully on July 20, 2006. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children: Léonie (Denys), Isabel (Brian), Rhéau (April), Julie (Glenn); ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother André; and two sisters, Alphonsine and Florence (Marcel Valois); and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Léon; her mother and father Alma and Alphonse Carignan; two sisters, Annette and Cécile; sister-in-law Valérie Carignan; and brothers-in-law, Maurice Duclos, Denis Duclos, and Edouard Cyrenne. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation will take place. A private family service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home with interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearer will be Gérald Carignan. The family extends a sincere thank you to the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Department, Winnipeg Police Service and the Medical Examiner's Office. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. In darkness and in morning light the time comes swiftly for our flight. To leave this shell, our earthly bond, in freedom travel to beyond. The passing's not without it's pain but only for us who remain. The flight is long, but soft and sweet, white wings on shoulders softly beat. Pass peacefully, Mémère, for it's your time and this is your song. We love you and soon say goodbye. Forgive us if we cry. You're at peace, for this we're glad and thankful for the time we had. We'll miss you Maman, Mémère, Grand-Mémère.
