Pering was predeceased by his daughter Digna Gutknecht. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carmen, their children: Cesar (Bonnie), Dante (Vicky), Ernie (Aida), Rey (Helen), Jessie (Candy), Susan (Willie), 25 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins in U.S.A, China, and Philippines. He was a quiet and true gentleman. He enjoyed his time with his family. Viewing (Lamay) will be held between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight, Friday, July 28, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, St. Edward the confessor, 818 Arlington Street with Father Vicente Tungolh celebrant.
