Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILTON PRYDUN October 21, 1935 - August 15, 2006 With sadness but also gratitude through faith, we share with you that our loving husband, Dad, Grandpa and dear friend, Milton, has been welcomed back home by our Lord Jesus Christ. Milton leaves to honour his eternal memory, his wife Steffie of 48 years; sons, M. Daniel (Inge), Mark (Diane), Paul (Heather); grandchildren, Johnathan, Megan, Whitney, Spencer, Tyler, Tianna and Natassia; sister Rosanne (Peter) and many other highly regarded friends and relatives. Milton was predeceased by his parents, Roman and Katherine and his sister Gladys. Milton, through his career endeavours with the CP Railway and Winnipeg Hydro, earned him the reputation of a man that could do just about anything. Despite his many talents as a tradesman, however, his greatest achievements came as a devoted husband, Dad and Grandpa. He meticulously instilled his life's lessons into his family so that his children could carry on a legacy of trust, honesty and faith. His word was his bond, his values unwavering. Milton's life, unusually challenging to most, was an inspiration to all who knew him. He chose an enduring faith in God to help him cope with his afflictions and it was clear his life's mission was to set an example that all struggles can be overcome by simply asking God be part of our lives. Milton's gratitude for all the Good Lord provided was genuine and despite his hardships, always placed the needs of others ahead of his own. Humble and polite by nature, Milton was a man of few words, but when he spoke, the meaning of his message was measured in volumes. How we will miss his guidance, his companionship, his love. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Michael, Dr. Piotr, Gayle, Gina, Jean, Dean, Florence, as well as other palliative nurses and staff for your care and compassion. Thank you so much Dad for everything you have done so our lives could be so much easier than yours. We are eternally grateful for your gift of wisdom and for teaching us to always trust in the Lord. We will always love you and will carry on your values in our hearts forever. Panakhyda will be sung on Friday, August 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, corner Watt Street and Munroe Avenue. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Rev. Fr. M. Winn officiating. Interment Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
