MARGARET JOYCELYN (JOYCE) THOREN (nee Totton) Born March 21, 1922 in Winnipeg, passed away August 20, 2006 in Delta, BC. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Carol on October 17, 1984. She is survived by daughter Carol Lynn Paisley (Barrie) of Calgary and son Robert (Leah) of Delta; grandchildren, Adam, Ryan and Chelsea Thoren and Leanne Paisley; sister Kay Burnside of North Vancouver; sister-in-law Myrtle Willie (Ray) of Vancouver; and numerous nieces and nephews. A stay-at-home mother in the 1950s and 1960s, Joyce was renown as a great cook and baker. In 1965 she began a career at Eaton's downtown Winnipeg store. After her retirement in 1988 she moved to Richmond, BC. The family thanks all the caregivers at Mountainview ECU for their love and support in Joyce's last years. Delta Funeral Home (604) 946-6040
