Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGINA POKRUPA Georgina Pokrupa, 81, passed away on August 28, 2006 peacefully in her sleep at the Good Samaritan Centre in Edmonton AB. Georgina is lovingly remembered by her son, Jerry of Cochenour ON; son Danny (Wendy) of Darwell AB; daughter Emily (Gordon) Wheeler of Winnipeg,; grandsons, Nils (Lisa) Pokrupa; Dwayne (Kim) Wheeler; Reg (Lisa Ross) Wheeler; great granddaughter Abigail Wheeler; brother Joe (June) Jasan, Broadview SK. Georgina was predeceased by her husband Rudolf; parents Joe and Mary Jasan; brother George; daughter-in-law Christina Pokrupa. On September 2, 2006 at the residence of Danny and Wendy Pokrupa, family and friends gathered for a celebration of Georgina's life. At Georgina's request, cremation has occurred, to be followed by a private family interment at the family plot in Boissevain MB. We feel sometime a persons spirit is so strong that it never completely leaves the earth but remains scattered forever among those who love them. I lieu of other tributes, memorials may be made to The Kidney Foundation.
