Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID GLEN POERSCHKE October 5, 1962 - September 21, 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David, our dear son, father, brother and nephew. David grew up at Fisher River and lived in Winnipeg for a number of years before moving to Ottawa where he has been for the last four years. It was on September 21 that his life came to an abrupt end when he was struck by a semi-trailer truck at a busy intersection in Ottawa. He is survived by his mother Mary Ann; brothers, Gregory and Kevin; Shirley, the mother of his daughters, Gladys and Rosie, stepdaughter Beatrice; aunts, Verna Kirkness and Darlene McNeil (George); uncle Clarence (Susan); numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his uncle Reg Kirkness and grandparents, Fred and Gladys Kirkness. A Memorial Service will be held at Steven's Memorial United Church at Fisher River on Sunday, October 1 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Stanley McKay officiating. The Lord is good to all. And His loving- kindness is over all his works . Psalms 145:9

It's been just over 7 years now since you left us David. When I last seen, talked & laughed with you in the summer of 2004, I used to say & wonder when you were gonna come knocking on my window again?
