EMILE BUYDENS Peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on Saturday, October 14, 2006, Mr. Emile Buydens of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away at the age of 84 years. Emile is survived by his best friend Rhoda Heather and by numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by three sisters: Angele, Rachel and Alice (Leon DeRyck); one brother Victor (Suzanne); two infant sisters and by a close cousin Alphonse VanBrempt. Emile was born at Bruxelles, Manitoba on March 1, 1922, son of Joseph and Josephine (née Deraux). Emile was raised on the farm and loved the simpler life. Later, he moved to Dugald and then to Winnipeg. He always cherished his family and friends. As per Emile's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service at the Bruxelles Parish Cemetery on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
