EINAR NORDAL On October 18, 2006, our dear Dad passed away peacefully at the Arborg Personal Care Home with his family at his side. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Solla; children, Louise (Wayne), Wes, Morley (Debbie); grandchildren, Ricky, Yvette, Yvonne (Glen), Michelle (Terry), Chris, Sherri (Jonathan), Dayna, Nicole; great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Ian, Deanna, Kayla, Breanna, Jeremy, Olivia, Gemma; and a great-great-grandson Benjamin, numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Jon S. and Valgerdur (Valla) and 9 siblings and their spouses. Dad was born December 19, 1912 at the family farm in Geysir. He attended Geysir School. He was a farmer, fisherman, lumber jack, freighter and a great mechanic. Dad and Mom were married July 1, 1950, and they made their home in Arborg where they resided until his passing. He was full of life and energy. Dad was very special to us all, and whatever he did, he did with knowledge and pride. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and the Arborg and District Hospital, the wonderful Homecare Workers, the special staff at the Arborg Personal Care Home, and a very special thank you to Mike Marko for his true friendship and help to Dad. The family would like to invite relatives and Dads close friends to a memorial service at the Arborg Unitarian Church, Friday, October 27, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Goda Nott Pabbi!
