Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN DANIEL POITRAS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest father and husband, Norman Daniel Poitras, on Friday, November 10, 2006, after a brief battle with cancer. Norman leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his loving wife of 43 years, Joan; sons, Donald and Paul and daughter, Jacqueline (husband Themistocles); grandchildren, Breanna, Destiny, Maia and Mikhail; his brother Pete (Barbara) and sister Darlene (Terry), nieces, nephews and extended family. He also leaves behind his dear friends, Al Drohomereski, Harold Huppe, Paul Perron and many, many others. Norman sold real estate for 25 years and most recently drove a school bus for Kings Transportation. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and many dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel 1800 Day Street. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations may be made in honor of his granddaughter, Maia, to The Aicardi Syndrome Foundation, P.O. Box 3202, St. Charles, Illinois, USA 60174.
