DONALD MIRON TOWSLEY Suddenly, on Thursday November 9, 2006 Donald Miron Towsley passed away at his home at the age of 84 years. Don will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Hilda. One brother Norman also survives him. Don was born in Winnipeg and lived there his entire life. Don loved to spend time at his cabin at Jessica Lake in the Whiteshell Provincial Park and also enjoyed his many trips to Florida. On November 8, 1987 Don retired from the Winnipeg Fire Department as a District Chief. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Firefighters Burn Fund, 303 83 Garry St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4J9.
