BUENAVENTURA (BEN) QUITANIA It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ben on December 1, 2006 at the age of 63 years. Ben was predeceased by his parents, Gregorio and Leoncia; sisters, Charito and Tita. He is survived by his wife Florida; children, Janice (Romel), Stacy, Florence, Melanie; sister and brother Isabelle (Alberto) Velasco, Emilio (Josie) Quitania and many members of the extended family. Dad was a man who had a lot of dignity and worked hard his entire life. Dad always provided for the family he loved. He was always there for his family and friends when they needed a helping hand. Dad was a great craftsman and gardener and he loved to go hunting. He is loved by many people and will be deeply missed. Lamay will be held on December 7 and 8, 2006, 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St. Father Kevin Smith officiating.
