JAMES HORACE RAPLEY May 7,1920 - December 17, 2006 Peacefully on December 17, 2006 James Rapley passed away at the Charleswood Care Centre. Dad was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2003. He is survived by his two daughters, Judy (Norm) and Barbara and four grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters Florence and Dorothy, and one brother Eric. Dad was born in Strathclair, Manitoba. After coming home from the war, he met mom and they had over 50 happy years together, many of them spent at their cabin at Ena Lake. He retired from the Gas Company in 1985. Dad was a quiet gentle man whose wood-turning projects are scattered all over Canada. Many thanks to the staff who gave Dad special care and attention over the years. There will be no service as per Dad's wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Society.
