Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID DOUGLAS BEAULIEU January 12, 1951 December 22, 2006 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle and dear friend, David (Dave) Beaulieu on December 22, 2006 at the age of 55 years. Dave was predeceased by his father, Douglas, in 1989. He is deeply missed and will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Teresa; sisters and brother: Michele (Jack Reid, and their children Meeghan and Kaley of Calgary, AB; Ken, Susan, Shelley (Jeff) Atkinson and their son Nicholas; Lori (Mark) Pilkington and their children Kaitlin and Taylor of Calgary, AB. Aunt Anita (Uncle Bert) of California and their children; special friend Jocelyn Karan. Other family members in Winnipeg will also cherish his memory. Dave was born and raised in St. Boniface. He worked for the City of Winnipeg, Parks and Recreation, retiring recently after 30 years. Dave loved nature and the outdoors, where he enjoyed watching wildlife and fishing. He had a deep affection for animals, in particular his two dogs Sheka and Nigel and most recently Pussy Cat, whom he couldn't refuse to take in and give it a home. He enjoyed watching the cooking channel, and was especially fond of his mother's home cooking. He also had a deep passion for sports, watching hockey on TV, and owning sports cars, beginning with his Spitfire. It was easy to make Dave laugh, as he had a remarkable, and off beat sense of humour. If you needed anything, Dave was the first person to be there for you, anywhere, anytime: an amazing quality he no doubt inherited from his father. Good bye David. We have cherished our time with you, and are comforted in knowing that you are with Dad, and at peace. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dave's life will take place on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy # 1 E and Navin Road, with Fr. Fred Olds presiding. Private family interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dave's memory to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, 3062 Portage Ave (832-7387). GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery Hwy. #1 E. at Navin, (204) 222-3241

Dave was a friend for many years that started from young kids who lived on the same street. Although he was a few years older than me, and I was a closer friend to his younger brother Ken, Dave was the protector of us all so at a young age we had nothing but respect for him (especially street hockey) However that respect carried on throughout the years. He had a love & a never ending appreciation & thoughtfulness for all. Dave was also a classic romantic) Envy was used often used when talking about Dave and his girlfriends) More importantly though, was his unyielding concern & a good friend's respect and help in any way if it was ever needed. If you had Dave on your side you felt secure. Then, and for many still relatively young years later. To our (genuine) hero back in the day. --- This is past due, however, my condolences & sincere consideration to his family and all his past friends.
