Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET GENEVA OSLAND (nee HEBB) Margaret Geneva Osland (nee Hebb) passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital on January 11, 2007. Margaret is survived by Norm her beloved husband of 60 years; her daughters, Jayne (Larry Frostiak) and Kathy (Brian Van de Mosselaer); her sister Bette Hebb; several nieces, nephews and cousins, and many wonderful life-long friends. All of us will miss her dearly. Margaret was born in Boissevain, MB on November 14, 1922. She lived all of her life in Manitoba, mostly in Winnipeg. We express our thanks and gratitude to the dedicated staff of the Victoria General Hospital and especially the staff of Unit 5 South for the wonderful care they gave Mom during her last months with us. Mom had many hobbies including ceramics, sewing, flower arranging and gardening. She loved her numerous flower gardens and won many awards from the Fort Garry Horticultural Society. During her life, Mom volunteered for many organizations including the Girl Guides, the CNIB and the Fort Garry United Church giving her time and energy to the community. A celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Saturday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8 or a charity of your choice.
