Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD GEORGE BEAUBIEN Peacefully, at the Health Sciences Centre, on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, Edward George Beaubien left us to be with his beloved wife Hazel. Ed will be sadly missed by his family: daughter Barb and husband Arden of Moosehorn; son Brad and wife Joanne of Arborg; nine grandchildren, Heather (Ryan), Marianne (Jonathan), Brian, Michael, Laura (Scott), Katie (Curtis), Candice (Ken), Denise and Jenny; great-grandsons, Jodi, Josh and Sam (Marianne), Logan and Warrick (Katie), Ethan (Heather), Corwin and Nolan (Ken); sister Irene (Ted); brother Jim (Karen); sisters-in-law, Joan (Merle), Elba (Marshall) and Eveyln. Ed was born and raised in Gravelbourg, SK where he developed a lifelong love of outdoor life, nature and animals. He was a kind and generous person who made friends wherever he went. In 1956 he was married to Hazel and they lived in many different communities during his career with Manitoba Hydro. In the early 1980s, they retired to The Ranch north of Arborg where he continued to enjoy hunting, fishing and farming until his health began to fail in later years. He leaves a great number of wonderful memories for his children, grandchildren and many friends. Ed was predeceased by his beloved Hazel; parents, Babe and Nellie Beaubien; in-laws, Scottie and Ellen Secord; siblings, Rita (Phillip), George, and brother-in-law Delbert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ardal - Geysir Lutheran Church or a charity of one's choice. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ardal - Geysir Lutheran Church in Arborg, MB. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
