PIERRE (PETE) JOSEPH ALPHONSE BEDARD Peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Victoria Hospital, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Pierre Pete Bedard, passed away at the age of 80 years. Pete is lovingly survived by his wife Rozella; son André, and step-children, Debra, Daniel, Dennis and David; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Bedard; brothers, Paul Bedard and Gerard Bedard; sisters, Lucille Saunders and Yvonne Bedard, and by his nephew Dennis Bedard. Pete was devoted to his family, and spent many years in Ile des Chenes. He worked for Motor Coach Industries from 1943 until his retirement in 1993. A special thank you is extended to the staff on the 4th Floor at the Victoria Hospital for their care and support. In accordance with Pete's wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Notre-Dame de Lorette Church, Lorette, MB, with Rev. Fr. Armand LeGal, o.m.i., presiding. Following the reception, interment will take place in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation, 2430 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB, R3T 2E8.
