WILLIAM JOHN PRUDEN (BOO BOO) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William John Pruden (Boo Boo) of Pinaymootang First Nation, on February 12, 2007 at the age of 64 years. Boo Boo enjoyed the outdoors, trapping, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed travelling and spent many hours working on satellites. Boo Boo got his first CB radio in 1973 and loved talking on it for many hours of the day. He was involved in and enjoyed entertaining his community by broadcasting his own TV and radio station. Boo Boo leaves to mourn his wife Janet, of 41 years; his daughters, Carrie (Ernest) Anderson and Harriet (Morris); his sons, Henry, Samuel (Colleen) and Ernest (Melodie); his grandson, whom he considered a son, Leonard (Laura); 31 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; his sisters, Sara Jane Beardy and Clara Pruden; his brother Alex; his sisters-in-law, Rose Poole and Marina Beardy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Boo Boo was predeceased by his daughter Doris Pruden; his granddaughter Helen Pruden; his brother Thomas Pruden; his grandmother Jane Sabiston, and by his parents, Thomas and Harriet Sabiston. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ethel Woodhouse (Porky) for staying with dad during his last days before he left. Also to the Health Sciences Centre, St. Boniface Hospital and Pinaymootang First Nation Chief and Council for their help and support. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, Manitoba. Pastor Wilfred Bruce will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Helen's Anglican Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to: ANDERSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME Ashern, Manitoba - 1-866-293-4951
