Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERHARD (GARY) VIEL It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dearly beloved father and grandfather Gerhard (Gary) Viel on February 21, 2007, aged 69 years. Leaving to cherish his memory are his daughters, Susan and Linda (Vince) and sons, Micheal (Christine) and Peter; grandchildren, Kathryne, Nicholas, Meagan, Travis and Heidi; numerous family members in Germany. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia, December 25, 1996. Gary was born in Hanau, Germany where he was raised by his grandmother during a very difficult time in the world (Second World War). He came to Canada in 1957 and settled in the Toronto area where he met and married Sylvia. Four children later the family packed up and moved to Winnipeg where he remained until his death. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. Thomson Funeral Home 669 Broadway 783-7211
