ELSIE ELENOR PODAIMA (nee NEIMAN) Peacefully, on February 22, 2007, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Elsie, passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 78. Left to cherish her memory, are her husband of 58 years, Louis; four daughters, Linda (Keith) Letts, Adrienne Drummond, Jackie (Gord) Down, and Tonya (Rik) Podaima-Skelton; and one son Wade Podaima; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Minnie Tomlinson and Pearly Stone; one brother Rudy Neiman; as well as many nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends. Elsie was predeceased by her parents, Adolf and Rose Neiman; sisters, Helen Williams and Louise Chernov; brothers-in-law, Ewan Tomlinson and George Williams; and son-in-law Grant Drummond. The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge and the Grace Hospital for all of the care given to Elsie. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with a reception to follow. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Elsie to The Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
