Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA ANNE OLSON It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Linda Anne Olson. Linda passed away at the age of 58 years at the Seven Regions Hospital, Gladstone on March 28, 2007. Remaining to forever cherish Linda's memory are her loving husband of 38 years of marriage, Bob; children, Robbie (Malinda), Bruce (Jana), and Lindsae (Eddie); grand-children, Rhea and Tyler; mother Violet; brother Jim (Jean); sister Jeanette; sisters-in-law, Nellie McGowan (Verne) and Irene McIvor (Jock); brother-in-law Lawrence Olson (Shirley); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Linda was predeceased by her father Llewellyn Baker; father-in-law Clarence Olson; mother-in-law Annie Olson; brother-in-law Almer Olson; and Auntie Liz. Linda was born in Cartwright, MB on September 6, 1948. She was the third child to Violet and Llewellyn Baker of Cypress River, where she grew up and received her education. Linda move to Gladstone in 1968 and worked as a telephone operator. She met and married Robert Olson in 1969. They had three children Robbie, Bruce, and Lindsae. Linda was always involved in the community whether it was baking for the Legion Auxiliary or attending UCW, everyone knew they could count on her. But home and family were where her heart lied, as anyone who knew her would have told you. Linda loved her family, and was overjoyed when she was blessed with two grandchildren. The time that she spent with them was sadly too short, but the love she lavished on her babies will last their lifetime. No words can ever capture how very much we love and miss you. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gladstone United Church with Rev. Ian Olive officiating. A lunch to follow at the Gladstone Christian Fellowship church. Interment will follow at a later date. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Seven Regions Palliative Care, Box 574, Gladstone, MB R0J 0T0. Clarke's Funeral Home, Gladstone in care of arrangements. www.clarkesfuneralhome.com
