MARVIN ELLSWOOD COATES On Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at the Ste. Anne Hospital, Marvin Coates, aged 66 years, of Richer, and formerly of Morris, passed away. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Lottie Coates. He is survived by his brother Alfred and wife Betty; nieces, Diane (Joe) Thordarson and family, Deborah (Rob) Smith and family; nephews, Dan (Eileen) Coates and family, Don (Brenda) Coates; his Aunt Myrtle Dreger; and numerous cousins. Marvin was very fortunate in his life to have had the love and care of more than one family; Rose and Adrian Bruce and family, and Charles and Diane Sansregret and family. He had a very special bond with his friend Alfred while in the care of these two families. Special thanks to Marvin's social worker Gordon Reimer, who so diligently watched over him for many years, and to Dr. Gobeil who kept him healthy. A graveside service with the interment of Marvin's cremated remains will be held at the Morris Cemetery on Saturday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Morris United Church.
