LAWRENCE VERNON OLSON 1934 - 2007 Peacefully, on Thursday, April 5, 2007, after a lengthy illness, our brother, husband, uncle, Lawrence Vern Olson, passed away at the Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home at the age of 72 years. Remaining to forever cherish Lawrence's memory are his wife Ida and three stepchildren; son Larry; brother Al; sister Winnie; and many nieces and nephews. Born July 2, 1934, in Manigotagan, Manitoba, to Maimie and Lawrence Olson, he spent several years with his Olson grandparents in Peguis, Manitoba, before moving to Madsen, Ontario. Lawrence married Ida Philp in 1975, working with the Metro Toronto Ambulance Service for 34 years before retiring at 65 years of age. In compliance with Lawrence's wishes no formal funeral service will be held.
