In Loving Memory of NEHRU (NICK) RAMSINGH aged 52 years It is with profound sadness your friends of the city of Winnipeg, and his family in Couva, Trinidad announce the untimely passing of Nick Ramsingh on Monday, April 9, 2007. Nick came to Winnipeg from Trinidad in the 70's, where he lived and worked. He owned several businesses on Portage Avenue, Solar News and The Newsstand , where he used to work as a team with Ken Halbert, gaining several great friends and customers. Nick moved back to Trinidad in 1998 to be close to his mother, Mrs. Bissoondaye Ramsingh and the rest of his family, where he passed away. He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother Bissoondaye Ramsingh in Trinidad; his two brothers, Nal and Nirad Ramsingh; his sister Vastie Ramsingh and lots of nieces and nephews in Trinidad; also his daughter Crystal in Winnipeg and many relatives and friends in Winnipeg. In memory of Nick Ramsingh, his relatives and friends in Winnipeg are having a Memorial Service 7:00 p.m. Friday May 4, 2007 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be given to the charity of your choice.
