KATHRYN PRONYK (nee KATIE KOSTEREWA) Passed away at St. Peter's in Hamilton, ON on April 19, 2007. Kathryn was born November 8, 1914 in Winnipeg and grew up in McMunn, MB. After graduating from teacher's college, taught school for many years, retiring in 1976 from River East School Division. She belonged to Narol Senior's Church and St. Nicholas Church in Narol. Kathryn is survived by one sister Olga Kosterewa as well as sisters-in-law, Jean Wilkie, Irene and Mary Kosterewa; and nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Mathew; her parents; sisters, Ann, Mary; brothers, John, Mike, William, and George; brothers-in-law, Fred Brown and William Brodhag. Memorial service to be held on May 19 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Church in Narol, MB on Henderson Highway, with Father Bob Kennaugh officiating.
