Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE BEAUDRY (nee BOUTANG) Peacefully on May 12, 2007 at the Luther Home in Winnipeg, at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Aime on October 23, 2006. She is survived by her 6 children, Rochelle Ehinger, Valerie Vardalos, Leon Beaudry, Mike Beaudry, Mary Ann Porter and Robyn Beaudry; 7 grandchildren Lonny Beaudry (Caroline), Brendon Ehinger, John Steven Vardalos (Anh), Danielle Beaudry (Matt), Crystal Beaudry, Adam Beaudry and Sara Porter; 2 great-grandchildren Lucas and Jordan, as well as her 3 sisters Cora, Rita and Doreen; and a sister-in-law Anna. Elsie was born in Vassar, MB on Nov. 26, 1916 where she lived until Aime's work took them first to Gypsumville and then Eriksdale. When Aime retired, they settled in Selkirk at the Knight Center. In January, 2003, Elsie moved to the Luther Home because of failing health. Elsie was a devoted mother who was supportive, loving and understanding. She will be greatly missed by her family, especially her grandchildren who could always count on grandma to say Leave them be. Mom was always ready to give of herself. Her friends, her church and her community knew they could call on her and she would be there to help in whatever capacity. Leading by example, she taught her family compassion and how to give of themselves. We would like to thank the staff at Luther Home for the kindness and care given to our Mom. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 18 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main Street, Middlechurch, MB with Msgr. Louis McCloskey officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARC Industries, 306 Jemima St., Selkirk R1A 1X1 or to Luther Home, 1081 Andrews Street, Winnipeg R2V 2G9. We love you Mom and you will always be in our hearts. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

Rochelle, Val, Leon, Mike, Mary Anne, Robyn and families, Aunt Elsie was a very vibrant woman who was always pleased to see me and ever welcoming. She had a great smile and was a very caring as well as being a no-nonsense person with a genuine love of life. I remember staying over at your home in Vassar, milking cows, sawing firewood, her cooking and her general good unconcerned humor. She was someone who made you feel like she was really happy to see you and always had kind words and a genuine interest in you. She will be missed. - Posted by: Bernard Beaudry (Family) on: May 15, 2007
