KATIE PUHACH Katie Puhach, at the age of 88 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 21, 2007, at the Park Manor Personal Care Home. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Mary Sooaru and Evelyn and her husband Emil Denesiuk; brother Metro Puhach; nieces and nephews, David, Carol and Jamie, Dianne and Peter Bulback, Curtis, Amanda and Hayden Bulback, Angela and Darryll Whitney, Daniel and Bev, Adam, Dinine and Dana Denesiuk, Cindy and Rick Cameron, Jordyn and Carlee, and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Mike and Zena Puhach, sister Anne and brother-in-law Art Meyers, brother-in-law Walter Sooaru and sister-in-law Viola Puhach. Katie was born in Glenella, MB, and later moved to Winnipeg where she worked at the St. Joseph's Vocational School for over 40 years. She enjoyed watching sports and travelling. The family would like to extend a sincere thank-you to the staff at Park Manor for their care and compassion. Keeping with Katie's wishes, cremation will take place at the family plot, Hillside Cemetery, Portage la Prairie, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Katie's memory to the Cancer Care Foundation.
