ANNE POLISCHTAK July 31, 1910 June 2, 2007 Peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2007 with her loving family at her side, Anne Polischtak passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 96. Mom is survived by her son Micheal and daughter-in-law Bernice; daughter Helen Quinn; grandchildren, John Quinn, Richard Quinn, Michael Quinn, and Tracy Quinn, great-grandchildren, Justin, Jesse, Kayla Douglas, Mikaila and Diana Quinn; brothers, Peter Zajac and Mel Zajac (Wendy); sister Luba Anderson. Mom was predeceased by her husband John on January 8, 2002; son-in-law John Quinn on February 4, 2001; brothers, Paul Zajac in infancy and Harry Zajac; sisters, June Sapera and Mary Lacomy. Mom was born on July 31, 1910 in Winnipeg. In 1952 Mom and Dad left Winnipeg for the U.S.A. to pursue a career in the hotel management business. They travelled extensively and retired back to Winnipeg in 1986. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Crawford and nurses and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Inkster with Rev. Fr. Volodymyr Bashutskyy officiating. A private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would gratefully appreciate donations in Anne's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
