Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH FREDERICK BECKER March 1, 1924 June 5, 2007 After a courageous battle with cancer Kenneth F. Becker, of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, passed away on June 5, 2007 at the age of 83 years. Kenneth is survived by his good and dear friend Hadie Becker; his three sons, Lorne (Sandi), Mark (Pat), and Jeffery (Mandie); five grandchildren, Tegan, Danielle, Alexander, Luke and Ian. Also three sisters and one brother, Irene (Normand), Dorothy (Bob), Brigitte, Dieter (Anorah), as well as many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was predeceased by his older brother Willi, and his twin brother Karl-Heinz (both fallen in the Second World War); his brother-in-law Paul, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Becker of Winnipeg. In May of 1942, at the age of 18, Kenneth joined the Air Force and served for four years in the Second World War, achieving the rank of Lieutenant. During his military service Kenneth was awarded three medals of distinction as well as a purple heart. After his discharge from the services, Kenneth earned management positions with several companies while working for over 40 years in the Industrial/Commercial Business Sector. A private memorial service, attended by Kenneth's immediate family, to honour his life was held on June 7, 2007 at Riverview Funeral Services in Fort Saskatchewan.
