ANNIE DARICHUK 1908 2007 Peacefully on June 22, 2007 Annie passed away at Selkirk Betel Home. She was predeceased by her husband Sam in 1997 and her only son Edward in 2006. She will be sadly missed by her remaining family. Annie was born in Gonor, Manitoba and shared her married life with Sam in Lockport. Annie enjoyed the simple things in life. Her greatest pleasures were her family, friends and her garden. She was very generous and always made nice tea and lunch for everyone who visited. Over the years, she particularly enjoyed family celebrations, playing cards with friends, going to the horse races with Gedo and playing bingo. She loved to plant a garden every spring. The vegetables went to the market, to family and friends. Annie was not a traveler but was fortunate to have visited the Ukraine. Annie resided at Betel Home in Selkirk for the last five and one half years. Thanks to the staff at Betel Home for their care and compassion. A private family service will be held to honour her.
