EDWARD ALEXANDER PROCEWIAT It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Edward Alexander Procewiat, on July 4, 2007 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 68 years. Ed leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his wife of 38 years, Sharon; son Sean (Jacqueline), grandchildren Karliegh and Halle, and son Christopher (Marian); his mother Ann Procewiat; sister Jackie (Lawrence) Hemery; along with many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father John Procewiat (1982). Ed had been employed by C.P. Rail for 39 years until his retirement in 1996. An avid woodworker, Ed's hobby created many wonderful pieces of artwork, now displayed in the homes of many family and friends. His talents also included drawing, as he was an amazing artist. Besides his artistic side, Ed also enjoyed volunteering at the Winnipeg Folk Festival and was a collector of baseball caps. But his most cherished times were spent with his granddaughters, Karliegh and Halle. A loving family man and wonderful friend to many, he will be missed dearly. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Father Owen Steeves officiating.
